Well, you know my favorite is Oiselle!!!! I also own a few Athelta ones and I love the way they all fit. I have to say that I haven’t even heard of a few on your list and I definitely did not know Under Armour made suits!? Great post with so many options!!

I have been wearing a Land’s End suit (don’t think it’s boring, it’s super cute!) and I love the way it fits. I’ve been eyeing up a suit in Athleta for awhile and I think I just might cave in sometime soon before the summer is over!
Great suggestions, I haven’t heard of many of these companies.

I am going to check all of these out. I haven’t bought a new suit in a long time and it definitely contributes to my beach/pool avoidance. Which is sad because I live in year-round sunshine.

Love that Under Armour suit! I hate tan lines so I’m a huge fan of athletic suits that don’t have funny straps, etc…

The UA suit is cute. It does have a cross-back to help keep it in place. But still beats a Speedo tan line!

My absolute fav from Oiselle is the Winona tank. Love love love it. Material is great and it feels lightweight and so comfy even during humid runs. I also like the roga short. Doesn’t ride up. :-)

Love these – I just bought my first non-maternity or non-changing-size-due-to-pregnancy-and-weight-loss suit from Athleta and I love it! I will start checking out more brands now that I’ve finally “landed” at a size and do so many fun activities. Thanks!

Of course! There are so many fun water sports and our swimsuits definitely shouldn’t keep us from doing them!

I really want board shorts. I kinda need them now, though.
I was actually looking for Athleta suits just yesterday, because I remembered hearing about them from you!

Board shorts are great and so useful! I have a pair from Roxy that I love but Athleta also make great board shorts.

I had a hard te finding a (cute) lap swimming suit and an Athleta tankini was perfect! One pieces don’t work for my body type (short smaller on top rounder on the bottom) so their two piece options were great! Great list! I definitely want to try a oiselle suit once I get a better gauge of my post baby size

It has been too long since I’ve updated my swimsuit- and it isn’t likely to happen this summer, either. But I’ll need to revisit this post when I’m ready- great overview!

I picked up the Oiselle Marty for active swimming and it’s great – I love the fabric and that it has no ties in back to come untied. Highly recommend! Great post!

I love bikinis but I am far larger on top than I am on the bottom so do any of these offer the option of buying top and bottom separately that is the only way I can get one that fits properly.

      July 28, 2014

I’m pretty certain that with all of these brands you can purchase a top and bottom separately so that you can get the correct size. I hope that helps!
