Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. How did that happen? While I’m not a big romantic, I am a sucker for a good romance movie. It’s one of my guilty pleasures.
Here are my all-time favorite romance movies – the ones that always make my stomach flutter with butterflies, the ones that I turn to when I need my fix.
Pride & Prejudice (with Keira Knightley)
Pride and Prejudice (BBC Version)
What’s on your list?

Dirty Dancing is my all time favorite. Unless you count Wast Side Story, which is my all time favorite movie, just not sure if it qualifies as a romance movie. Romantic tragedy maybe.
Debbie @ Live from La Quinta recently posted..Checking In: Blogging Goals, Challenges, and #28DBC
West Side Story definitely counts. I can’t even tell you the number of times that I’ve watched Dirty Dancing!
I love this! so fun! My list: Sense and Sensibility, Shakespeare in Love, Franco Zeffirelli’s version of Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde, The End of the Affair, Atonement, The English Patient, On a lighter note…Dirty Dancing, Grease, Bridget Jones Diary,

Oh! How could I forget Sense and Sensibility and Shakespeare in Love. I don’t think that I’ve been that version of Romeo and Juliet. Loved Atonement too!
You have 2 of my favorites – Pretty In Pink and Some Kind of Wonderful but I’d include: Love Actually, Never Been Kissed, 16 Candles, Shallow Hal (controversial but overall, great), The Red Violin, The Notebook, Circle of Friends, The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates (I love Drew Barrymore), 500 Days of Summer, Down With Love, City of Angels, 40 Year Old Virgin….
I should stop now. I’m kind of embarrassing myself.
Enjoy Valentine’s Day!

It’s technically a Christmas movie but Love Actually is a great romance movie!
I agree with Eric above. Love Actually is so good. And so is Good Will Hunting…possibly my favorite. Not really viewed as a romance, but the end gets me every time since it’s about choosing love.

Good Will Hunting is definitely one of my favs too. I’ve watched that so many times and actually can’t believe that I left it off this list.

Pretty in Pink is my all time fav. I still watch it at least once a month. #2 fav is Serendipity. Another one I’ll watch when I want a nice sappy movie.

OMG – yes on Pride & Prejudice – Keira Knightly is divine.
I also love the Holiday, the acting is so bad but somehow the film is so good. The Notebook is nice, Crazy Stupid Love was also really good. Amelie is fantastic too, but does that fit under ‘romantic’? Again, Midnight in Paris, does that fit?
The best for me: Love Actually! Best film ever!
